I just saw this ...... https://railfan.com/cpkc-releases-new-paint-scheme/ Of the 5 options voted on by the employees this was my choice too. Does anyone know if they have any locos on order or will something desperately in need of paint be the first to get the new colours ?
Not bad at all. But after viewing the five options, to my eyes, none really paid a lot of attention to the KCS portion of their history. Now to learn how they intend to implement this scheme. Will it cover all of the engine fleet? Or as we see of CP, be a mix of the old and some of the new.
I'm sure they'll release one with a ton of fanfare, and the rest will piecemeal thru the paint shop on a sparse basis. You know what they say, "paint don't haul freight"....
