Looks like a picture out of the pages of history. My grandfather used to work with the CP back in the days of steam, my grandmother with the CN. Being the relative I've seen alot of pics of black n white steam, and you've captured the scene perfectly...impressive
Ed actually the pic is not out of a history book. I shot it last Sunday........... It's a N scale Kato Mikado re-lettered for Canadian Pacific. The passenger car is a six-axle one from ConCor. Both right out of the box. No detailing or weathering done. All I did is changing the picture from colored to black and white. Also a bit of right-sizing so you won't notice the background... The whole scene is on the newest extension of my N scale layout. There'll be a logging railroad with lot's of tree stumps. I'll place new pics on my homepage the next 48 hours.
