    Copper Cities Limited Charter Trains
Sponsored by the Southern Appalachia Railway Museum
Two Days of Train Rides on the
Arizona Eastern Railway and Copper Spike Train Excursion
Sunday, April 5 and Monday, April 6, 2009
The Southern Appalachia Railway Museum announces a series of special train rides covering all of the available trackage on the Arizona Eastern Railway, using a special operation of the Copper Spike Train Excursion. Come join us as we ride over the former Globe and Clifton Branches of the Southern Pacific in the copper country of eastern Arizona. Here is your chance to ride all of these lines in only one visit to the area so come ride with us in comfort (we will only sell 60% of the train's tickets) in dome and lounge cars.

The Southern Appalachia Railway Museum is based in the Knoxville-Oak Ridge, Tennessee, area and operates the Secret City Scenic Excursion Train through the former K-25 Manhattan Project facility.

Equipment: All of the equipment used on the trip will be supplied by the Arizona Eastern Railway and its Copper Spike Train Excursion offices. The train will consist of a full-length dome, an open window coach, and a lounge observation car. The equipment has been restored for modern use but may not be fully accessible for all passengers. Steps and narrow aisles may make it difficult for some people. Because of the cars' historical design, passengers needing special assistance are asked to make arrangements on their own for physical help. Please note that dome seating will not be assigned and will be open to all passengers. Passengers will be asked to rotate through the dome throughout the day.

On-Board Services: Snacks, drinks and souvenirs will be available for sale on the train. You may also bring your own food with you. However, NO alcohol is allowed on these trips. To ensure adequate space on the cars, passengers are encouraged to carry only small bags or coolers. Coolers and bags must fit overhead or under seats to keep the aisles clear. Please note that meals are NOT included in the ticket price. We are working on making meals available at a separate charge and will have additional information available shortly.
