Charlie, will the move to a new larger server also include a new version of TB software? My concern is the restrictive processing of Cookies with the current software.

For security purposes, I set my browser Privacy to Block all Cookies, I then selectively Allow Cookies only from certain sites, TB being one. Unfortunately, TB's current software requires that a browser's Privacy be set to Allow All Cookies before it will Remember a User ID and Password. The TB software does not appear to check the browser Privacy Custom Sites List to determine if Cookies are Allowed for the site.
I agree that this isn't an earth-shattering problem, merely an annoyance to be required to Log In each time I visit TB. (Whine, Whine - :crying:)

    Thanks, Hank

    Hank,

We are already using the most current version of the software. Are you checking the "Remember me" box when you log in?

Yes. This is no bigee, just a quirk with the TB, and some other site's software. The design/coder of the TB software left out a step to check the Privacy Allowed Site List for Cookies. I've found it's common with other vBulletin hosted sites that I frequent. It's not a Bug, just a feature provided by sites hosted by other software.
