    I am not sure if you have all of your questions answered or not, but there is an intermodal yard in Nampa, Idaho that would come very close to fitting your footprint. It is located just to the south of the Union Pacific shop. (About 500 feet southeast of the push pin on the Bing map.) If this link to Bing Maps does not work, just enter Union Pacific Way, Nampa, ID and you will be in the area of the yard.

    The birds eye view will give you four different angles of the operation. The photos were taken a few years ago, and now there is a "piggy-packer" loader similar to the one N Scale of Nevada produced many years ago that is in addition to the straddle loader. The straddle loader that can be seen in the photos is the narrow style that is only wide enough to straddle a single track of freight cars!
