Steve, I am not sure if you have all of your questions answered or not, but there is an intermodal yard in Nampa, Idaho that would come very close to fitting your footprint. It is located just to the south of the Union Pacific shop. (About 500 feet southeast of the push pin on the Bing map.) The photos were taken a few years ago, and now there is a "piggy-packer" loader similar to the one N Scale of Nevada produced many years ago that is in addition to the straddle loader.
