I am wondering if anyone has any information on comparing the Con Cor Bi-level Commuter Cars as opposed to the Wheels of Time cars.

If I were to swap the Con Cor trucks for 4 wheel passenger trucks from MT, which ones should I use?

At $19.98 each for Con Cor cars and $34.99 for the WOT cars, that's a significant price savings. Does anyone have experience with BOTH, or either car?

I am not particular if it isn't EXACTLY the correct truck, I am not a rivet counter. (Please don't take that as a bash on rivet counters, it's not.)

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Jeff,

Don't know about the Bi-levels, but I changed my Concor 85' Budd's with MT 1017-s and that was a peace of cake.

Jeff, like Paul says use the MT 1017s with the couplers slid back close to the truck(they are ajustable for length)Do you need some of these cars I have a Burlington and a CNW that I would let go real cheap. :D

The CNW car and the lower Burlington car are cabcars.

I have both versions, and IMO the Wheels of Time cars are well worth the extra $15. The WOT models come with microtrains trucks with low profile wheels, microtrains couplers, and full interiors. These things need to be added to the ConCor models.

The WOT cars are earlier versions of the C&NW cars, with more windows, while the ConCor cars are the later model. This may factor into your decision, but if you arn't a rivet counter as is, the WOT models are better looking and operating out of the box.
