I'm ready to purchase the Digitrax PR3 to get my computer connected with my layout and JMRI Decoder Pro . The biggest downfall with my SEB w DB150 booster is its inability to read CVs . Is there anything out there I should consider , I hate buying stuff and then finding something that would work better or be a better option . Thanks Jerry
In stand-alone programmer mode the PR3 can program and read back CVs. In "MS100" mode it acts as a LocoNet interface between your computer and your DB150 for controlling your layout. Decoder Pro will work through the PR3 in either mode. I faced the same thing, but went with a LocoBuffer-USB and a Zephyr, as the PR3 had not yet been released. No regrets.
