Today I continued to work on my wiring, and I have to prepare the connection between the layout and the switchboard.
Sometime ago I started to use a spreadsheet for this, in order to have a complete list of all connections for track power, switch machine power, etc..
Now I found out that it is also helpful to build a list of connector with it, defining each pin.
I use StarOffice (the newer versions are OpenOffice) for it, don't know wheather it is possible to convert it to Excel (might try tomorrow).

Actually this is a sideproduct of spaceflight :D because I used such a list already at work.

can can save them in .xls or .xlt, under Save As.. .I use openoffice exclusively, and whenver I have to save them under a format made by Those People, they open up fine on Their Products.

Up to now I am still using StarOffice 5.1, and I think that transferring multiple tables in one file might cause a problem.
But I think that I will switch to OpenOffice soon.

I would only need to convert it if someone is intereted in this. And it is in German  :D
