    This is the web site for the Columbia Terminal Railroad (COLT). http://www.gocolumbiamo.com/WaterandLight/COLT/

    The city of Columbia Missouri owns and operates the railroad. The city took over the railline after the NS abandoned the line.

    Its primary use is to bring coal to the city operated electric plant (1 of only 16 left in the country). It does however service industries along its route one of which is the 3M corportion.

    Hope the physical plant was in decent shape at takeover? What do they use for power? How many carloads annually?

    i like the logo. pretty slick doing a colt when you're a knock-off from NS...... will have to find an excuse to get up that direction sometime.....
