Spent 2 days at the Colorado Railraod Museum, hoping to see the Rio Grande GP30 and Coors SW-8 moved in. Instead, I got 2 days of watching the Colorado Midland Observation Car, #111 being moved to its new location at the Museum.
It now sits behind Rio Grande 583/683, a 4-6-0 and Great Western #100.
The last 2 days have definately been interesting.
Here's one shot of the Midland car, as it's being loaded onto a lowboy trailer:

Other photos can be seen in the Midland 111 move album at Rail Images.

Now, with any luck, I'll have to take Monday, Aug 9 off, so I can head back to the Railroad museum and watch the locomotive(s) being brought in. We'll see........

The car has been at the Museum for the last 44 years. Was just being moved to a different location.
New location behind DRGW 583/683, a 4-6-0 and Great Western #100.
If I end up at the Museum again Monday, I'll get photos of the Midland car in its new place.
