Well, all i need to do is get some N scale PC board ties from Caboose and i can finish this thing... http://clem.mscd.edu/~jimenez/Stuff/Trains/code40_1.jpg It was actually pretty fun to build~ It's not lined up correctly on that piece of tape i stuck it on(so no nitpicking yet!) and i forgot to add the guardrails for the photo! I might actually do something with this, we'll see what happens...
Lookin' good! Is it totally scratch-built? Was it hard to do? I tried to build turnouts many years ago and was sooooo disappointed I never tried again. But now I'm looking at relaying the temp layout with ME code 55 they have only no.6 turnouts in their 55 range. So I need to build my own Gary. ------------------ Gary A. Yep, so far all from scratch. One thing that makes it easy is the Code 40 rail. Compared to larger Codes it's almost like butter to form! I basically followed the article in MR not too long ago on handlaying switches, but i've done it in HO so it's not foreign to me, so i kind of just used the article for reference and not step by step.
