I have a copy of Wayner's "Passenger Train Consists 1923-1973" It has a consist for the "Super Continental" 7/29/69 which includes a car identified as #1007 White Plains, an 8 Section, 1 Bedroom, Diner Sleeper. The car list I have has four lightweight "White" series cars like this, but they are 1010 thru 1013 and none are named White Plains. There is no heavyweight White Plains listed in Barger's "A Century of Pullman Cars Vol 1". Can anyone tell me anything about this car is?

CN 1007 "White Plains" was part of lot 1211 from Canadian Car and Foundry Co. The 8 section, 1 double bedroom buffet sleeping cars were numbered from 1000 to 1009. They were also called the "Trust Series P" or "Sleeper Grill" cars. They were built between 1938/12 and 1939/01. There may be a photo and CN diagram of CN 1003 "Whitecourt" at the Museum of Science and Technology in Ottawa. They have some photos on their web site -
