ED, Excellent photographs, I hope you dont mind me posting a photo off your site for others to view. I highly recommend everyone to visit Eds site.
Great shots, guys- expecially the vintage Alcos! Please post more- the closest I get to CN down here are the CN hoppers set out at Coorstek in Grand Junction.
Maybe E.D.Motis's photo of CN #2548 could be cropped down to just show the engine, and replace the head-on photo now used for this forum? I am rather tired of the head-on shot, since it really does not show the engine to best of composition, in my opinion. I do not mean to offend the owner, or photographer of the head-on shot, I just feel it should show more of the engine and paint scheme. If E.D. would be agreeable, I think his #2548 would better represent the CN Forum to bring new life. This is my personal opinion: It might generate more responce if the Forum photos were changed occasionally, and many many fine photos are afterall, available. I am not in anyway "running down" the Full face-on photo now used as the CN Forum "Mascot" for It is my opinion that it is a good very clear photo, but my interest is waning in it.
Well, maybe this new one is better. A volunteer supplied it and thought it would be more suitable. Charlie

Many thanks to the volunteer for the new Mascot Photo! Now it looks like a CN should, glad to get rid of the old "in-your-face" one!
The offer has been made to use whatever shot the administrator would like. Would be glad to do a custom shot....By the way, Dash 9's were shot at Hicks, BC just west of Boston Bar, coming off the Anderson Creek Bridge and yes, the location is the Fraser...
