Ok so I was geeking around the web tonight. Just for giggles I googled CMBRR and found the Colorado Mineral Belt Railroad..... Is this for real? Or is this something conjured up for tourism in the Leadville area?
CMBRR is the name of my fictional railroad, and I tried hard to not acronym it after another...

Do you have that link? I am not finding anything. There is a Colorado Mineral Belt, but that is geologic/mineral/mining region of the state. There were railroads serving that area. However, a company of that name does not seem familiar.

This is how I found it. The link is a dead end. But it piqued my interest. My great uncle worked at Climax mine in Leadville for many years.

Looks like an abandoned URL. I have a feeling it is or was a model RR.
