Cliff Grandt passed away at age 89 on 15 March 2002. He was the "Dean" of die making of model railroad parts and kits and the father of Grandt Line. Prior to opening Grandt Line he worked for Kemtron. Surely to be missed by all in the hobby. A sad day and major loss to the hobby.
Yep .. sad news for sure Jim .. but the old man had a long life and I'm sure that someone will pick up the loose ends and continue on with it.
SlimJim, what has happened to the dies and the Grant Line of products? Are they going to continue to operate, ot sell off the equipment?
