    Wow,
Just got hold of two sets of Classic Metal Works cars. These things are really cool. Since my layout is set in the 50's I needed some cars to help set the mood. The detail on my '50 ford pick ups and '49 ford convertables is great!! They come two to a pack, preassembled and look great. A bit spendy though at $10.00 per pack. Anyhow, if you haven't seen them yet, head to the hobby shop. And no, I don't work for these guys! Happy Modeling!!

I am hoping that they come out with some more modern cars. I bought one pack to use as "restored classics" on my layout but sure would like to have vehicles this detailed right out of the pack in my era. Ten bucks is worth it, I bought mine for 7.99 though. The Atlas F-150's were about ten bucks.

    Brian,
My understanding, from the guys at the local hobby shop, is that if these sell well, they will do a whole line of cars, including modern. I think they started with these because they are very eye-catching. Of course they are perfect for me, as I said. I would also like to see them make some older cars...model As etc. because if they can do this kind of detail on cars from the 40s/50s, imagine what they could do on cars from the teens through the 30s!! So keep an eye out for modern vehicles. You can also drop them a line on their website: http://www.classicmetalworks.com
    Happy Modeling!!
