Source BNSF Today Here Kitty, Kitty -- Get on the Train 2003-06-20 -- Tigers and other wild beasts will be brought to Texas next week as part of the Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey Circus. The circus will be transported via BNSF from Lafayette, La., to Houston, and on to Austin, Texas, for performances June 25 - 29. And as one might expect, it takes a lot of equipment to move "The Greatest Show on Earth" -- specifically a train consist 4,788 feet long (not including the two locomotives), made up of four stock cars, 34 coaches, two container flat cars and 17 flat cars for equipment. Not a bad entourage.
