I'm constructing my new layout and am using an NCE Power Cab with PSX circuit breakers and an auto reverser. I noticed that the PSX breakers come in a size designed to fit in a Radio Shack project box for protection. Has anyone used this? How do you have your circuit breakers mounted? Are they housed in anything?
I'm thinking that dust and such may creep in over time and am wondering if I should cover them in some way. Would heat be an issue?
if anyone has any ideas/experience here I would appreciate hearing about it. Thanks.

I have used these for years. I got some standoffs and mounted them directly to the bottom of the layout. There are no parts that dust can affect, and dust really wouldn't do anything more than act as warming blanket to the board. That said, any way of mounting needs to allow so heat dissapation.

The whole thing is pretty simple, which is the beauty of these devices. They can have elegegant installations or they can have ugly implementations. Either way, they work just fine.
