Did anyone get a new digital camera for Christmas? How about some reports/critiques on various models? What do you like about it? What don't you like
Bought myself one a few weeks before Christmas and can truthfully say that there isn't anything I don't like about it. The one I bought is the Sony Cybershot PS30. I bought it mainly for taking pictures of my large assortment of N-Scale locos. I knew I had to get one with a macro lens for close ups, but I'm still stunned at the quality of picture I get for a $300 camera. As soon as the new uploading feature comes to this website, I'll start posting some of my recent shots. I must also say that the editing software that came with it works better than I thought it would. I can take a picture with 330kb and reduce it down to 60kb and can't even tell the difference in resolution and still maintain the same size picture. One of the best purchases I made this year aside from my new Toyota Prerunner. [ 30 December 2001: Message edited by: thomas ]
