How many of you are planning to run a G scale layout around your Christmas tree? That is what got me into G to start with. I tried running N scale and gave up.... then G... it is the G that stands for GREAT....LOL

Well do like I do then. I run a G at work in my office. No sound system in them but it sure is relaxing. It just goes round-n-round and round.....

That's nice Art,but my wife will not allow me to put train material in yet another room even in my office. [IMG]

there are already to many rooms in the house that are "infected" with all kinds of train material [IMG] [IMG]

it's like computers, some "virus" infected the house [IMG]

Already got mine set up. We put it up the friday after Thanksgiving. This is the first year that we are doing it. I just purchased a gondola car for Santa to place a few small goodies in as well. The only problem is the train keeps getting messed with. Our golden retreiver, Dakota, leaves it alone, but our 2 yr. old, Tyler, keeps pulling it off the track to get closer looks at it. It should be a lot of fun.

Our dog Jamie is a 13 lbs. Manchester Terrier, and she loves to watch the train. She never attacks it in anyway as she seems to think the sound unit is barking at her or something.
