Any up-to-date tips on spots in Cheyenne? I'll have about a day and a half of free time and will be staying close to the old depot. A lot of stuff that shows up in Google searches is out of date, like recommendations for closed restaurants. I won't be doing Sherman Hill this trip. People have mentioned MP512(?). Thanks.
A couple of our Staff have been there in past years, but not recently. Trying to think of someone who has railfanned it in that past year or less....
Sitting in the observation room in the Cheyenne Depot as I write this. Stack train stopped on fourth track. At least two mixed freights waiting west of town. Minimal activity at station so far this morning. Back to Denver this afternoon.
