How good is this system? Seems like a great way to get going for an Ho scaler.

Not much info on their WebSite about the DCC system. So I have no comment, other than to say it might be a little limited.

You're better off staying with known systems. It doesn't look very comprehensive at all.

What do you expect for $65??

The Roco LocoMaus II (or LocoMouse II) - which is what is included in that set) isn't a full featured system, but it works fairly well. Also, the throttle is very simple to use.

BTW, this is actually an XPressNet based system, so it is compatible with Lenz systems.

Also, I actually do own a LocoMouse II, so I have some use experience with it (mostly using it as a hand held throttle with a Lenz system, but I have used it as a command station as well).

The full manual is available here:

Thnks for the info. I was mostly curious to find out how this would compare to other systems out there. I already have a zephyr and it will probably do fine by me for a long time to come. Would have bought lenz but it costs too much for my low end modelling budget.
