There were a few different models painted in pre-merger schemes similar to the one posted. I am certain some of the U-23C's and GP40's scored it as well, along with a nice, but ultimately unused, rendition on an EV caboose or 2. Gary. ------------------ Gary A. I remembered photos of the Uboats but couldn't find any online... I don't recall seeing the caboose scheme.
Some of the (to be) ex-NP cabs scored the paint. This shot was taken in June 1981! I have seen pics of a GP 40 and a U boat but I thought it was a U 30c or a U33c. I thought at one time these were painted on the eve of the merger, but I may be wrong about that. Micro Trains just came out within the last couple months with that boxcar. I am searching high and low for one.

I have always liked the pre-merger scheme. Its just too bad someone doesnt make the decal sheet so I could paint one up.
