I am trying find out the history behind the CP Rail SD45s. Kato produced them, but I have never seen a prototype photo. Were they ever in the Pacman scheme? Thanks, Clint

If you are modeling very-current times you may also be interested to know that 5495, the unit that is shown in that picture is no longer in service. It is currently stored unservicable, and with the new motive power plan CPR is using I would expect that it, and maybe some of the other SD40M-2u units will be declared as surplus power. Dane
