They are being parted out in British Columbia and the useful parts will be sent to the US to be rebuilt. Exactly what parts will be reused is unclear. I've heard NOT the frames, but at least the trucks and traction motors. EMDX 7102 was rebuilt from a CP GP9u so maybe it will look like that. Or maybe it will be all new sheet metal. My assumption is that they will be built in Tacoma, but that's not clear. From the link above, pictures of the doomed units.
