I don't know if the flag has actually fallen. So that is why I am asking- Does anyone have information on CP family member Dominion Atlantic RY? Was it ever absorbed into CPR? Also, perhaps a date for when it came under CPR control? Or how it became affiliated with CPR? Anything?

I don't see it listed in contemporary Canadian Track Side Guide books.

    Thanks Rick and Barb!

I see the date 1990 at page top. But must of overlooked the explanation of it's significance. Am thinking it may have become part of a spinoff shortline operation?

CP abandoned about 80% of the old DAR and today it's known as the Windsor and Hantsport(sp?) Railway.

    Some other CP Family roads.

    Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway
    Kettle Valley Railway
    Quebec Central Railway
    SOO Line
    Domion Atlantic
Of those listed, 3 were abandoned, and the E&N was sold/leased to a short line operator. The QCR is operating again after a major rebuilding of abandoned Quebec Central Division lines.
