Can anyone ID this N scale structure? It looks like it might be a one off, but figured I'd throw it out there. I did find the sign tho it's in HO. https://www.ebay.com/itm/The-LUV-Sh...HO-Scale-Miller-Engineering-New-/201221598759 I'm thinking of maybe converting this into a Gentlemens Club if all else fails. Not a fan of the Deco options because they are a bit too gritty looking. https://www.walthers.com/kelly-s-cafe-kit I figured this building with the right window tint, and paint, window or sign decals, I could pull it off.
That building is probably a kitbash of a few different kits. The blue first level is the entryway from the Model Power N scale Movie Theater, but the second floor looks like it's from another kit, probably Model Power or Bachmann.
Put a balcony on the front where the gals can come out and display their, um, charms. Give it a Key West kind of flavor.
I love how some people want to say certain thing's, but know they shouldn't, and it's interesting how they navigate the subject It's like a special man code Too funny, like they are trying to explain a certain place ( see what I did there? ) to a girl friend or spouse When is the last time you told your buddy's, hey, let's go to the Gentleman's Bar, I don't think so Tim Like, display their charms... Their Lucky Charms?
I don't think that even in an N scale world, any town would allow pole dancing on the street. At the very least, it isn't safe for the women! Mr. Trainiac is right: The first floor is definitely the Model Power Good View Movie Theater (1593). You can tell by the round window above the door on the left. The second floor is not part of the MP kit since the MP kit looks very European from the second floor up (it's a 4 story building with an attic).
Ahh, you got it all wrong!!! The balcony ain’t for running poles under it to the pavement. Down at Key West, at the clubs that have the traditional architecture to support this, the gals come out the French Doors on the second floor, walk out onto the balcony, and lean over the rails and wave & call out at the passersby.
See, I would expect having a balcony for that, but this strip club has a pole at street level. In a town like Spicoliville, CA, where the town motto is "hey bud, let's party!", I would EXPECT the strip clubs to be on the right side of the tracks.
If you are doing a modern layout BLMA/Atlas makes a dual sided billboard where one of the signs (gorgeous gals) would be perfect complement to that. Miller engineering also does a couple of animated signs:
Do you have part numbers for these 2? I'm searching and not finding. Checked their site, and ebay, google. Disregard I found em.
Whoever (whomever? I can never keep that straight) built that wins the Interwebs for today! As awesome as it is already, I think it would have been even better if the spinning figure was a silhouette behind the illuminated window.
