Anybody use or look into a Canon S100 for shooting Z?
I would like to replace my Nikon S220 at the end of the year with something I can shoot HD videos with only looking for a P&S type.
What about all the New Compact type? not looking to spend more then $450........

Canon SD4000IS might be worth investigating. 10MP, HD vid, manual overrides for great stills. I almost like it more than my Canon 5D...

I must say that I am always most happy with my Powershot A610. I tried out some other cameras in between, they never reached. For me a display that you can turn in any possible direction is a must. So you can make shootings "from behind" where you in general never see. And the quality of the pictures is famous. I even bought a barely used A620 as reserve, with 7,1 Mp instead of 5,1 Mp it leakes a little in bad light, but always make a perfect job. Oldies but goldies.
