Read somewhere else that Sierra Railway has filed with the STB to operate the California Western as the Mendocino Railway. Anybody heard anything???
I had read the Sierra RY part. Maybe it was our own Bill who noted it here on TrainBoard. But ever since that time, there has been no further update. I have been wondering about track rehabilitation, getting rolling stock ready, etc. And with recent bad weather, of any damage? Boxcab E50
I was just looking at their web site: http://www.skunktrain.com/ They certainly have a busy season schedule listed. I hope that conditions allow so they can do it. Should get things into a profitable position. And make for a better future. Boxcab E50
