Here are a couple of C&O items I photographed about 10 years ago, at the B&O museum and at Hinton, WV.
Hey Tim, Like the F unit scheme... I had a pair of old BL-2's in C&O a long time ago. I ended up getting rid of them because they ran so poorly. Harold
All those great Fall colors as a background. It must have been a fine day for train chasing! Didn't someone model this area in N scale? NTRAK modules? Boxcab E50
I have 4 BL2's - 2 in C&O - had problems with a couple of 'em. Found out the wheels were out of gauge - too tight- spread 'em out and the performance got better immediately.

I had the old spring drive.... (I guess I was spoiled by the Kato units I had). I had planned to do a kitbash / underframe swap using a LL SD7/9 chassis for the motor & underframe. Besides, I always had a problem with the BL2 having "Dash 2" trucks Harold
Here's one of the Kato F-7s I painted a few years ago, with some details added. Sorry the focus wasn't too good - I took this still with a video camera.
Here's an Atlas 0-8-0 that my brother re-motored for me - it's pulling a set of Dimi-Trains Work cars. Here's a Kato 2-8-2 pulling some IM C&O box cars fitted with the Des Planes Hobbies Viking roofs.
Rasputen - MORE!!! Those shots are great! Now I better get in gear - I don't have any scenery even started yet! The horn on the F7 looks good - I put a Sunrise Enterprise 5 chime on - not quite right. I might put sunvisors in the cab, but that will probably be as far as the detailing goes.
Here's an Atlas/Kato GP-7 with retroframe pulling some Pere Marquette Hoppers. I definitely need a new camera.
Oh, man - this is killing me!!! Pere Marquette hoppers! I'm having trouble just finding C&O hoppers! Since I live on the former PM line to Muskegon, I can really appreciate that last picture. I hope InterMountain hurries up with the release of the C&O F7 A & B units...
