CBQ C B & Q on Santa Fe Trackage in New Mexico?

    Do any of you guys know if the Burlington Route ever shared trackage with the Santa Fe in New Mexico in the 1950s?? Any info would be great!! Happy Modeling!!

    I could have happened, in a pool power arrangement, but pooled power came into its own in the 70's, I think. It is doubtful, however. Maybe a C&S or FW&D engine strayed from home rails into NM.

    Am unaware of shared trackage or trackage rights. Perhaps CB&Q equipment appeared on AT&SF rails during detours for whatever reason. But that would probably have been all for New Mexico.

    According to my 1978 Rand McNally C&S went through the northeast corner of New Mexico. The only shared trackage with ATSF I'm aware of is in Colorado.
