SP/SSW Business Train

It is late in the afternoon, almost evening at the Glendale, Ca depot. Circa 1982...SP Business train, led by SP 8388 (Snoot nosed SD40T-2, and SP 3201 SDP-45) sits at the depot awaiting southbound Amtrak 11, the Coast Starlight.

 

The end of the train...I don't recall the name of this business car..

 

I got pictures of that car somewhere. I'll see if I can dig them out and find the name on it.

 

I found a picture of what looks like that car, except that it has two extra windows on the right side, between the two windows that are higher than the others in the bottom pic. I don't have a pic of the left side. I took the picture sometime in the early 90's at the Amtrak depot in Houston Tx.

The car in my picture is named Stanford and is #140. Hope this helps......
