If your going to run your Ohio crane on your layout, I highly recommend this brass carbody. Adding the tungsten putty in the areas I recommend in the video directions for the Ohio crane do help. But being an all plastic kit, its still on the light side. The brass carbody is not cheap since its in brass. But it adds a good amount of ballast to help keep the crane on the tracks. Video shows one of my Ohio cranes with a brass carbody in action. If you fast forward to the end, you can see the crane handles quite well going thru turnouts and down to 170 mm radius curved track.
This will help with carring a load! the weight from the car body when cab is turned a bit tends to want to fall over! This should help a lot!
