    Excellent work by Warren. Boxcar roof weathering is so important for realism. (Says me, who has not one weathered roof - - yet!) :rolleyes:

    I agree with Paul. Weathered cars looks more realistic and [​IMG]
    The roofs on my boxcars is not yet rusty, but the cars are not clean anymore :D

    Thanks gang! I might have said so before, but I went on a weathering frenzy last fall when I had my hip replaced. Since then I have been working on a newer weathering technique using an airbrush like I had been before, but then accenting and detailing further with soft colored pencils. So far I'm liking the results. When I get time, I may post pics of individual cars. that I feel might merit a look. [​IMG]

    I've seen too many people who overdo it. Making the cars look like it's the day before they get scrapped. [​IMG]
