HI Guys: I have the negative Ion Generator from a Harbor Freight fly swatter-- I want to make a static grass applicator from it, but I suspect it may be a little low voltage, is there a way to add another or something to boost its output? -- any suggestions? Thanks TIM
Hi Tim, I went the same route as you - had a tennis bat fly swatter where the battery died - though it might work with a static grass applicator. Do you know what the voltage from the battery is? If its around the 9v mark you might be ok to pump 12v into it. Have you seen this video? In the end I shelved the fly swatter and purchased one from Aliexpress for just a few dollars, I got the DC 12v 15000v to 20000v electrostatic generator and boy does it work.
