I want to body mount Micro-Trins couplers on some MT ACF Centerflow Hoppers (3 bay). MT 1023/25 are to long. MT 2004 are the correct length, but will need a shim to get the proper height. Can anyone tell me how they body mount MT on these cars?

I use 1027 short shank or a Reverse Draft Universal Body Mount.(I don't remember the number, guess I threw out the empty packages). These required no shims on cars from various manufacturers.

I measured one of my MT hoppers, and the coupler mounting surface appears to be around 6.8-6.9 mm above the rails. The 1015 is made for 7.1mm mounting height. This would work, but of course that comes with the coupler slightly low. The 2004 as you said would require a shim, about 1.2-1.3mm thick to achieve the mounting height of 5.6 mm required for it. I'm not certain which coupler would have the correct height, as I only have the instruction sheets for the 1016/15 and the 2004 in front of me.
