I Love the Bigger SD80 & 90/43Mac's but since BNSF never owned them I have no refferance photos to go by. I was going to wing it and use the basic Yellow Swoosh scheme instead of the H1 ( since it's now reserved for the smaller units ) or the H2. so I was wondering if any of you know of someone who did this already? I remember a model railroader or an N scale Magazine that had someone who did this but I can't remember which one it was. I think he did the H2 scheme ( it was aesome ). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
They didn't make any magazines but I did these SD-80s and then sold them on eBay about a year ago. A couple fellows got in a bidding war and I made a pretty penny on the pair. (The other was #98) The winner had me ship them to Tokyo.
