Came across a few thumb-nail photos of the new service facility at Commerce Calif. with what looks like a real neat fueling platform that just begs to be modeled. Does anyone have or can get some good detail shots of the platform and the new diesel fuel tank farm?

The Commerce facilty is neat, but getting good pics there is kinda tough. Seems like the few times I've been by there, BNSF has thoughtfully parked autoracks or other cars right in front of the facility, making decent shots from the platform tough, if not impossible. Next time I'm out and about, and swing by that area, I'll see what I can do...hopefully there won't be any cars in the way! Paul #3 ------------------ Have A Nice Day!

Thanks Mankind and upfoamer1 (should I ask what that means?) for the replies. I'll be looking forward to Wednesday! And Mankind, if you can get some shots of this facitity and post them that would be great! If you can't post them I'd be more than happy to pay for some hard copies. I'll bet this is one neat place!
Although I go by the name UP Foamer, I still do consider myself a BNSF fan. I railfan, or "foam" BNSF as much, if not more than UP. I live in Long Beach, and often go to Fullerton Station to watch BNSF and Amtrak, Dolores, and Mead Yards to see UP, and I go to Watson Yard to see BNSF. I also see Pacific Harbor Line whereever I go! Foamer Network
Well it looks like my pictures of the engine facility are at my job, because when I went to scan them in today, I couldn't find them. Sorry, I will get them today when I go to work. I will scan them in and post them tommarow, sorry.
Can't seem to post the pictures, but I will keep trying! These are pictures of UP's Taylor Yard in Glendale, CA. I should have the pictures of BNSF's up by tommarow, but I can't gaurentee that they will be much bigger. http://members.fortunecity.com/pcmc/newfile.html [This message has been edited by upfoamer1 (edited 11 January 2001).] [This message has been edited by upfoamer1 (edited 11 January 2001).]
