    HI! This is something I've suspected every since BNSF started running the intermodels on the KCS transcon to Atlanta a couple of years ago. A combo of KCS with the often rumored merger with NS would be a straight shot L.A. to Dallas to Atlanta. NS and BNSF loco numbers already equal or are greater on the Meridian Speedway(KCS transcon) than KCS.
