Got to catch a pair of empties going through with just quick crew changes, Followed by the second one to enter, leaving first. Then my camera memory got full, dang. So, I got pics of the DPU!

Had a good train catching day Thursday, an empty oil can headed east after a loaded grainer came in. Only hiccup was my memory card ran out, so had to make a run back to the pickup! The oil can left with his ditch lights off! Ooops!
This morning there was some interesting power in town, our 40's, Coal train power, colorfully, And a soon to be extinct 'Belle. The "permanently disabled" item is where the mainline refueling station used to be. The SF disabled it rather than have the flexibility of using it. Which would have required re-hiring half a dozen laborers to do that job 7 days a week. Silly, ain't it?
