BN BN GP50's

    I have heard that BN derated the HP in there GP50's to something like 3300 HP, is this true?

    havent heard this yet.but as old as they are getting it wouldn't surprise me any.maybe we can talk about this later on the bn forum.(another hint)

    The BNSF GP50/60s have not been derated to 3300 Hp
    as per what I have heard.

    What happened to the BNSF GP60s in Warbonnet colors

    I thought it was 3,000 hp that they were derated to...

    More infor here. It was the BN GP50's that have been derated, From what I have heard they are either 3000 or 3300 HP now, The ones that were derated were re designated GP53's.
