No injuries, thank goodness but a real mess tonight around 1800 when the M PASINB1 19A derailed into a south bound Union Pacific train derailing it also near Ostrander, WA. Two work trains are on duty one from the South and one from the North to help clean up. Unknown how many cars and if any hazardous material is released. Be advised of the possible dangers. Ostrander is a few miles north of Kelso, WA.
Ouch! It certainly must have created a loud noise! I'll bet that UP crew was startled! Wonder what they'll find as the cause? Rail flaw? That's normally some well maintained trackage!Journal/wheel failure? If you happen to hear, please post any info. Boxcab E50
