Well I think I am finally happy. My minimum radius for my mainline is now 36 inches. Huge for N gauge but I love it. [IMG]

    Wow. That's an interesting photo!

I'm quite envious of a radius of 36!"

Is it just the photo composition, or is there some superelevation in your track through that curve?

This view certainly illustrates an intriguing potential for N scale. That being the great scenery to railroad ratio than can be achieved.

No super elevation Boxcab Just a slight grade.
The angle of the camera could be the reason for the apperance of super elevation.

Here is a helicopter view. It shows the bend in the track much better. [IMG]

    Robin,

Those two shots are just fantastic I think that long curve looks great.

Would love to see more shots.

The second view really shows off that 36" radius! Very nice. What is the area that looks like a cutout? Something to do with the adjacent spur?

I agree with Paul. Would like to see more photos.

boxcab, that will be a creek. Will post pictures later. The spur will serve a cattle loading area

Great modelling Robin. I like your backgrounds. Are they from "Backdrop Warehouse"?

With that sort of radius you could model the Horse Shoe Curve.
