Big and little tunnel motors!

    These two units were the last two on a Norfolk Southern train I caught recently. When I looked at the photo, it struck me that it appeared that I had a big and little tunnel motor [​IMG]

    I know, the CR unit is a GP15-1, but it looks like a tunnel motor :D

    I know what happened. It was bigger. But my wife washed it. And naturally it shrank..... :rolleyes:

    Yep, and there is an old SP8250 SD40T-2 tunnel motor, unpatched, too. Great catch, Chessie!!

    I wish I could say the same, but upon closer inspection, it's a painted-out rent-a-wreck lease unit. :(

    The GP15-1s are also called "baby tunnel motors" or better yet, "culvert motors". :D
