Hello Group: I plan on purchasing about $1000 USD of new Kato N scale track for a new layout. Can anyone provide the best source/distributor for this purchase? I see on Tony'sTrains website a pretty good discount from the retail pricing listed on the KatoUSA website. My local train store charges full retail. Thanks, Karin Anne Johnson Palm Harbor, FL
That can't be named online train story in Maryland have good prices too. $1000 is a lot of Unitrack. You may have to source from more than vendor due to inventory.
Check with National Capital Trains and Fifer Hobby. There are a number of quality N scale dealers that will discount 20% and sometimes more. Tell them what you need and get a cash and a credit price for your large transaction. Good luck.
I use Fifer Hobby. The inventory may say its out of something...or there is a limited amount BUT. Call them If you need quanity over whats available "Robin" or "Mike" will get what ya need PDQ!! That and they are a TB advertiser.
I used https://www.trainworld.com/ for most of the track when I switched the entire layout over to unitrack.
Many of our advertisers offer excellent pricing. Fifer and Trainworld are examples. But please, see our retailer policy https://www.trainboard.com/highball...ead-our-policy-on-discussing-retailers.53290/ We specifically do not allow detailed discussion on comparative prices, and never about non-advertisers.
