Yep. A couple days ago, I put in my 2 week notice.
July 31 will be my last night of work!
Now, I'm also starting to see about getting any/all medical
information I can, so I can put in an official application for SSDI.

For anyone that MAY be on SSDI, how long did the process take??
Any useful information that would help the process??

Maybe after a couple of weeks of doing nothing, I can think about
continued improvement of the G Scale out front.

So, the countdown begins!! And I'm looking forward to it!!!
Maybe part time work at some point. But, something I can sit down and do.
I can't do this standing/walking stuff any more!! Too many problems.

    Anyway.......

Don't delay. Get the application and read what is required, then gather every scrap of paper they demand. You miss one little item, you start all over. The sooner you have it together, the better. The wheels can grind very slowly, once you input. =>Have everything from your doctors(s) possible, stating your total disability.<= Without the doctor, you will get nothing. No matter what, do not be surprised if quickly kicked back out of the system- Denied. It may require a VERY frustrating and lengthy fight to get anything started, and then get paid the proper amount.

    Good luck!
