Working on a model of the ATSF roundhouse that was at Bakersfield, CA. The RH is very similar to the one at San Berdoo, but not identical. Found a low resolution photo of the cast concrete sidewall, that appears to show the celestory roof (not the open air coupla roof) overlaps the side wall. At San Berdoo, the side wall rises above the roof line of the celestory roof.
Have attempted to contact every historical and SF modeling group that Google could come up with. But cannot find anyone with a good photo of the concrete side wall.
Can anyone here point me to a source of such a photo? Willing to pay for the image.

I appreciate your reply, and all of the links for the first several pages of Google listings show up highlighted in my browser, since I have been there before.
Tried to explain in my post, that what I am trying to locate is a view of the original cast concrete side (left wall when looking at Rpundhouse from turntable) wall.

Good group of folks there Andy. A Mr. Doug Wagner of that club has already gone the extra mile trying to connect me with someone who has a pic, and no luck.
Haven't been to Bakersfield, but betting that photographer access to an area that would allow getting such a shot was no possible.

The big Santa Fe sign was on the side that was all plywood with a large sliding door. Most of the photos of that roundhouse were taken from that side or across from the turntable. From my time spent railfanning, many times I couldn't get the angle of the structure that I wanted due to lack of access.
