Today, CN announced a massive layoff due to lost revenue in grain transportation. This summer saw one of the worst droughts on the prairies in a long time. 2/3 of the layoffs will be in Canada and 1/3 in the US
I'm feeling the economy too! I was laid off 8 weeks ago, and have not even had 1 interview yet! In fact I have not even received a thanks but no thanks letter from any of the places I applied! I hope things turn around soon or I'll have to sell the house!
I feel for you Robert and wish you success in finding secure employment. It is really tough when so many companies think that to keep going they can do it with less people but then the whole issue of good customer service is going through the hoops.
