As explained to me before I ordered, he assembles all modules. Which is fine by me, living in an apartment, etc. Pictures? Will try to catch up on that this weekend.
Pictures. My camera's flash just seems to be hit and miss... This is a Denniston Design Double T-Trak module: https://train-orders.com/MRR/DD/1.JPG https://train-orders.com/MRR/DD/2.JPG https://train-orders.com/MRR/DD/3.JPG
Holes are for the screws from the underside to secure the Kato Unitrack on the top. They should match the screw holes of the track. The notch is so you have clearance for your screwdriver due to the thickness of the wood.
It is that. Rock solid. Light weight. The materials are very good quality. Yes. The holes are available to align and attach Unitrack. However, he offers an option, for a few dollars less, of not drilling your module(s). I chose to get them. The notches are to access the holes closest to the end wood. Cleanly cut. Nice.
Get the holes if you are using Unitrack. It will be hard to drill your own since it's hard to align the underside holes of Unitrack pieces. It's like guessing when you drill.
Well, this is actually good news. I contacted Stuart about ordering another module. He responded with ordering info, and also let me know that he has set up a new shipping method, which has significantly lowered that cost! I certainly won't complain about saving dollars. Yea!!!
