I have a Bachmann digital command center and two locomotives(santa fe). I bought the Ez track expander set which comes with two turnouts with remote switches. They came with power cables to be connected to AC power. Only problem is my Digital Command Controller doesn't have any AC power hookups:tb-confused:. Are these turnouts not compatible with DCC. I tried to power them from the terminal track but they did not do anything. Any help would be appreciated to get these remote switches to work and be powered. Can the Digital command controller control the switches? How do I do that if so? TY for any help!

Most all DCC systems, although able to control turnouts with the installation of the appropriate equipment, require a separate power supply to activate the turnout motors. Either a separate 5 amp AC power supply or the AC terminal of an old DC power pack. I use the latter.
